A piece of vintage British Rail history.
 
The letters BR(M) stand for British Railways Midland Region, which was formed in 1948 and existed until 1982. This bucket is possibly 1950’s. It has a really lovely time worn patina as would be expected with the life it has had.
 
It isn’t watertight so if using for fresh flowers a vase would be required inside to hold the water.
