A rare find amongst antique warmers. 
A stoneware boot warmer manufactured by Doulton & Co at Lambeth Potteries. In excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. This is a very unusual and rare vintage piece and a great addition to a collection, or a really decorative stand alone conversation piece. 
This would have been filled with boiling water and placed inside boots so they were nice and toasty once the wearer was ready to leave. 
Possibly once part of a pair, however if so they have been separated over time.
