A fabulous late Victorian deed box originally from a solicitors office, bearing the name The Guisborough School Board.
 
This box would have held valuables and documents belonging for the Guisborough School Board and they would have been kept safe at the solicitors office until they were required by the owner of the box.
 
A great box to keep papers and photos or magazines in. I have one of these in the bathroom for loo rolls and cleaning products.
 
It does show signs of its age and the life it has lived, as would be expected!
