£0.00Price
An antique teaching chart for teaching how to sing the scales, the basic rudiments of singing. The Curwen Modulator changed music history, being responsible for the emergence of choral singing as we know it today! J. Curwen invented a chart in the mid 1800’s, initially to help aid school children to sing together. These charts are rare to find nowadays, one is displayed in the British Museum. Made from linen backed paper it measures: 30.5 x 114cm long. There is some creasing as would be expected for its age, however overall it is still good.
